“Peter Obi is desperate and he's changing party up and down.” Mind you, this same Peter Obi can simply decide not to contest for the Presidency and he will be 100% fine. Man is already rich. Then there's you, still struggling to pay the debt of the three cups of rice you took from Iya Bashiru. In the last four years, you have basically lived from hand to mouth, with your purchasing power now a long lost fairytale. If you like, don't get 2027 right. You're not doing Peter Obi, he will be fine. You're doing yourself.

I joined my leader, His Excellency Peter Obi, H.E. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, alongside my colleagues in the National Assembly, to officially join the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC). This marks a significant and defining moment in our political journey—one driven by a clear vision and a firm commitment to building a new Nigeria that works for all. Our leader has given a clear marching order, anchored on integrity, competence, and people-centered governance, and we are ready to move forward with purpose and unity. I therefore call on all well-meaning Nigerians, across party lines—starting from Idemili North and South Federal Constituency—to come together, align with, and support the NDC movement as we collectively chart a new course for our nation. A New Nigeria is POSSIBLE, and it is within reach. Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo Deputy Chairman, House Committee on NAFDAC Member Representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency "Conor Gallagher" "Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso" "NDC is OK" "Nigeria is OK" "Tomorrow is Monday" "Manchester is Red"

Successfully reconstructed the NDC logo, maintained the integrity of the logo and colour, but that initial colour combination is diabolical. That said, once he is announced as the presidential candidate, design assets will be made public. We are on stand by.

People who say such things are part of why we’re stuck with the status quo. Let the people decide who their leader should be. Go out and Vote!!! No one starts the election morning with 10 million votes already in the pocket.
Aku N’esi Obi Ike (I)@Kasieobi_1

The truth is that, if Peter Obi contests for Presidency again outside the coalition, he won’t win the election, and to be honest, it’s meaningless to contest for an election knowing fully well you’re not gonna win. If he and Atiku contest separately again, Bola will win again.

🔴Registration Of NDC Raises Concerns As ADA Seeks Legal Action Against INEC. A wave of controversy has erupted following the registration of the Senator Dickson-led National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the All Democratic Alliance (ADA) raises concerns over the legitimacy of the process. Promoters of the ADA claim that the NDC was registered through fraudulent means that bypassed the guidelines established by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). During appearances on Arise News Morning Show and Trust TV, Dr Umar Ardo, a key figure in the ADA, criticised INEC for allegedly deviating from its procedures by registering a political party that he claims did not go through the official screening process. Ardo revealed that initially, 171 political associations expressed interest in registration, but only 14 were shortlisted by INEC. On September 15, 2025, INEC published the list of 14 associations that advanced to the next stage, which involves verification of their offices nationwide. Of the 14 groups, only eight proceeded to the verification stage on INEC’s portal. Ardo asserted that the ADA adhered to all requirements and actively participated in the process, but was denied registration. He said: “It is shocking that a political association that did not submit an application, was not shortlisted among the 14, and did not make the final eight, suddenly appeared with a registration certificate.” Ardo rejected INEC’s explanation that the NDC was registered on the basis of a court order, describing the claim as untenable. He argued that the due process of law would require proper filings and INEC’s participation in court proceedings. “For a court to give such an order, there must have been submissions, and INEC must have been served and represented. We intend to obtain Certified True Copies of the court processes from the Federal High Court in Lokoja to understand what transpired,” he added. In contrast, he alleged that the NDC was absent throughout the stages. He expressed disbelief that a political association that did not apply, was not shortlisted, and did not make the final cut, suddenly obtained a registration certificate. Ardo contested INEC’s explanation that the NDC was registered pursuant to a court order, arguing that proper judicial procedures would require INEC’s participation in court proceedings. I give it to Obidients. Those guys are indeed a formidable movement. All through the ADC debacle, they stood their ground and matched Atiku boys toe to toe. They remained very much alert and deflated all the gaslighting that came from Atiku boys. Those are really a political force. 👊

No genuine lover of democracy will fault Peter Obi’s defection from the ADC. I find the reasons he adduced as very convincing and quite justified. I wish His Excellency well.
Peter Obi@PeterObi

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
