Hitting F-35 during a combat mission over Iran is going to change many things for this stealth aircraft. IRST lock gave heat detection range of F-35. It showed at which speed & altitudes, the stealth coatings failed against infrared sensors. F-35's infrared fingerprint is a priceless record for Iran now. This would be transferred to friendly countries. It will help in developing sensors to identify & target it. After 19th March 2026, the pilots of F-35 will fly defensively. This will degrade their effectiveness. They are no more invisible.

First, the video is fake. That is not even the silhouette of an F-35. Second, the plane was not shot down, it was damaged and landed safely. Third, the USA has flown 8000 sorties over Iran, and Iran, try as they will, has managed to damage (not shoot down) one (1) plane. That is a success rate of .000125%. Good job! 🙄

The Verge has lost its way. Several months ago, they interviewed me for 45 minutes about Apple Vision Pro. I spent 43 minutes talking about what I love, and 2 minutes on what I’d change. They twisted parts of those 2 minutes and cut everything positive I said. To make it worse, the author opened the interview by saying they were biased against headsets. I miss the old Verge. The one that was fun. The one that spotlighted tech instead of throwing shade.
