We then agree that gods meaningful expression of morality must be in agreement with this pure fitrah which he himself instilled , within reasonable bounds

Yes, that’s why I made the distinction with “default intuition”. We were born with these things and can observe them held by the majority of societies regardless of time and location. Compare this with “influenced intuition”, which are things we may pick up from the status-quo of our society and aren’t universal.

We can observe that throughout all societies throughout time that hurting babies is immoral, we know this intuitively. Since this is demonstrable and known by the fitrah, God must align with this pure fitrah
