@JohnoFife @intercraneguy @JohnSwinney @theSNP I cannot see any figure 1 examples from the above screenshot mentioning Scotch whisky For clarification all parts of the U.K produce whisky with scotch as the dominant category 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 - Scotch whisky 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 - English whisky/whiskey 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 - Welsh whisky NI - Irish whisky

@intercraneguy @JohnSwinney @theSNP someone once again using the English trade figures. 1 example is Scottish whisky exports are added to the "BRITTISH" figures.when we finally get the real data instead of the propaganda the public just may realised how much we're getting fooled.

With independence, we can lower your energy bills, rejoin the EU and build a fairer society. That future is ours to win. On May 7, vote for it - make it #BothVotesSNP.

@SealeStu in the The Whisky Distilleries of the United Kingdom by Alfred Barnard (1887) only 4 English whisky distilleries are listed and by 1905 all the English whisky distilleries had closed due to a combination of growth in gin production and the Scotch whisky industry

It would have been more beneficial if to 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿both in terms of distilleries and profit if 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿industry had not failed and had the opportunity to grow to where it is now or even bigger to become a dominant category

The English whisky industry closed completely by 1905 but was revived in 2006 and now has 61 distilleries It as not right to say 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 distilleries closed due to 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 to support 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 distilleries & scotch profits when England’s industry completely closed in part due to 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 growth

@Jedbob67 @reformparty_uk • The law reference that Scotland must follow the legal framework but to my knowledge it does not set any particular limitations • In a theoretical Indy scenario there would be discussions of assets and liabilities but this is only speculative

@SarahMGellar is it possible for BTVS: New Sunnyvale to be picked up by another company to produce and release?. I don’t know how things works in terms of the rights to the show.

@tenaciousV56 Other parts of the UK produce or have these things and would not be completely lost

1/2 Losing Scotland means England-rUK takes a massive hit to its GDP. The UK would lose oil reserves, gas reserves, hydro power, arable farmland, forestry, sea area, reservoirs, fishing waters, gaming lands, rock and granite quarries, slate reserves, tourism income, export income

Just saw the new Huggies Wipes TV ad from @huggies_uk. The narrative is shown in words on the screen and includes the following: 'Nothing phases our new Huggie Wipes'. Huggies UK, if your marketing department would ever like to hire someone who can spell, I'm right here! 🤣

@FrankJohn1964 @Highlandstaggie @TheFlyingFifer @staylorish Comments like the above “thick” are not necessary in a debate the case for remaking in the UK I believe with Federalism can be made and fought for. Whisky is made in all parts of the U.K Scotland - Scotch whisky England - English whisky Wales - Welsh whisky NI - Irish whiskey

@Davedc321 @ShipWrektPod @kelly18600 The World Whisky Awards are blind taste test of all the submitted whiskies. The above whiskies won on taste and quality with the taste test not being biased by pre-opinions

@SpiritualMB @ShipWrektPod @kelly18600 I hope you do know that English whisky is garbage and those awards have nothing to do with quality. Now you are a bit more awake! 😉
