I used to think I was behind in life. Watching people my age “make it”, travel, glow up… while I was just trying to survive and figure things out. There were days I felt like I was failing quietly. But looking back now… I wasn’t behind. I was building.

This is why, when I chose to become a husband and a father, I chose a life of service. I’m here to serve my family, fully, not halfway. I don’t believe in the 50–50 mindset. I show up where I’m needed. I do the house chores, I’m present in childcare, whatever needs to be done, I do it. It takes me one hours to tear down our four-bedroom home from top to bottom and leave it spotless in an hour, and I take pride in that. For me, it’s not about keeping score. It’s about commitment. It’s about partnership. I understand not everyone thinks this way, but this is how I see life we serve each other, we support each other, and we pick up where the other leaves off. That’s the kind of life I chose.

Splitting bills 50-50 with a Nigerian man??? You will cry blood no worry. He will use his spare cash to fuck all the baddies, buying them raw hair and taking them on dates while you’ll be at home exhausted with juggling your career and the kids daily. If you like don’t be wise.
