Once issued for training, frag grenades cannot be returned to the Ammunition Supply Point. That means that after you're trained and qualified everyone, you have to expend any leftover grenades. Yeah, real tough gig. Last time I got stuck with this was in '94.

@armstrong8785 @hw97karbine Yeah, that was my initial thought given the footage is from the Eastern Front but the tripod gave me pause. Who knows? Like @hw97karbine comment above there were a lot of sources. One thing is for sure, the Germans made use of whatever they got there hands on.
