Neptune Strike 26-3, marks the series' first expansion into the High North/North Atlantic as part of Arctic Sentry, one of NATO's enhanced Vigilance Activity and extends the Alliance’s operational reach into one of NATO’s most strategically significant and demanding environments.

Spanish Expeditionary Strike Group, under command of @STRIKFORNATO has conducted a "long range maritime strike" exercise during Neptune Strike 26-3. This is a tactical action that uses fighter jets launched from the sea to attack long-range ground targets and back to the ship.

⚓📰 #USNAVY UPDATE: Exercise Sea Breeze 26-2 Opens with Focus on Interoperability as a Combat Capability Exercise Sea Breeze 26-2 kicked off in Portland, United Kingdom, today. Naval forces from Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, France, Georgia, Greece, Japan, Latvia, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Türkiye, NATO Maritime Allied Command (NATOMARCOM), Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and The United States are all participating. “Sea Breeze 26-2 reinforces the importance of interoperability,” said Vice Adm. J.T. Anderson, commander, U.S. 6th Fleet. “Every evolution we conduct together strengthens the readiness and lethality of our combined force, ensuring we are prepared to defend our shared interests and maintain security across one of the world’s most strategically important maritime regions. Strong Allies and partners are our greatest advantage.”

Spain 🇪🇸 is leading NATO’s Atlantic naval task force, #CTFAtlantic, for the first time, commanding a multinational force of more than 3,000 personnel from 14 Allied nations. Throughout July, Allied maritime forces will conduct routine surveillance, deterrence and training activities across the North Atlantic.
