@SportballF The 7th place and 9th place B1G teams are in the Elite 8, the Big 12 has 4 good teams. The B1G is the best conference top to bottom.

Exactly 1 year ago to the day, Iowa fired Fran McCaffery. Today he takes his 5th team he’s coached to the NCAA tournament. It was time, but Fran knows how to coach ball.

@jsamiam Yup. BMCs hands were tied this year with scheduling and recruiting. You know you’ll always have a quad 1 game with ISU non con. I didn’t know how many of those games is the ideal number.

@SportballF I think a lot of the contracts this season were already agreed upon by Fran--Xavier home/home and Accrisure were definitely already signed. So tough to say what McCollum will do with a relatively clean slate--I'm guessing that next year's schedule will be better.

Ole Miss down to #124 this morning in the NET. Hopefully Beard can turn it around, but the non-conference SOS is going to be a problem for Iowa when the committee meets in March.

It felt like Iowa tried a too hard early to play their pace. Led to stagnant bal movement for most of the night. It’s a fine line between “this team is slow from a tempo standpoint but you’d never know it with how much action and ball movement they have” and.. L******** ball..
