@otherChris73 I think Bill Veeck had a contest for students in the Chicago Public Schools to design the murals. Would be interested if any were salvaged from the ballpark.

@SportsBandbox seeing that mural behind the shoeshine stand gave me a flashback of walking up the ramps on the first base side and seeing the other murals by the ramps and around the park. I don't recall the cigarette machines there, but they were so commonplace then.
