Fiscal responsibility when preparing a budget and revisiting it to provide for next funding cycle should have required oversight of funds used in the prior budget cycle. Seems many, including Congress, have been derelict in their duties. Let’s start with accountability and restitution from forever Congress members (like bad 4-ever chemicals) who failed in oversight and state and federal bureaucrats who turned a blind eye or participated in the fraud. Then resize government. Win:Win.

@BelannF Let me give you a clue. Yes 5 senators can approve to motion for Thune to be removed. Now guess what. It takes the majority of caucus of GOP senators to appoint a new leader. When Thune was chosen he won on the 2nd or 3rd round. Scott from FL was eliminated in the first go around couldn't make it to the run off. It was between Thune and Cornyn . Thune got the nod. there isn't the political muscle in the Caucus to unseat Thune. Mitch's staff won't tolerate it. Murkowski and Cornyn and Tillis and Cassidy won't go for it. Neither will Collins. So it would be a navel gazing contest. Nothing will happen until next January. If there is enough change you might get somewhere.. Until then enjoy the suck.....

@Milajoy Time restriction is only related to “lying to Congress” - deliberately withholding and falsifying critical data that results in deaths does not have time limitation. People (our friends and family) died and were maimed and continue to suffer because of their actions.

Appreciate your efforts Senator! However, it’s beyond congressional committee investigation time - it time for charges and prosecutions of the leadership and staff who perpetuated these crimes. How to recall do-nothing senators and replace with folks who actually give a darn about getting criminal issues, e.g., illegal voting, financial fraud, and withheld clinical data that caused harm, all addressed within 16 months. Incompetence of the @SenateGOP and @LeaderJohnThune rules Congress. If they were competent legislation would be moving towards secure and rightful voting laws, legal actions against the perpetrators of enormous amounts of fraud would be occurring, and the actual C0VID conspirators would be making financial restitution and serving prison time. But here we are serving up midterms and 2028 to the other folks.

Seriously, what the hell. Federal mental health examiners just ruled that Decarlos Brown Jr. is “not competent to proceed” because he has a “mental illness and mental defect.” This career criminal with 14 prior arrests and a 73-month armed robbery conviction was released on cashless bail… then stabbed a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee in the neck on camera while saying “I got that white girl.” We don’t have to live like this.
