@SoonerPerfected I dont get it. So many people are being critical of Paul solely because he wishes Marathon had more approachable and casual friendly modes? I LOVE Marathon and I wholeheartedly agree with him. The art, story, and gameplay are amazing. Id love PVE and anything else theyll make.

I tried to write a tweet expressing my feelings on this four times and I couldn’t post any of them because of how passionately I disagree with and am completely done with Paul. I’ll have to leave it at that. This is genuinely insulting.

its pretty crazy how Paul can be honest on video, “I wish Marathon was different,” yet he can’t understand how thats a selfish opinion. its extra crazy to be like “look at the retention, that proves I am right” 🤦‍♂️

Perimeter and Dire Marsh need just better loot - once you reach a certain point those maps are pointless outside of contracts or picking up specific salvage. I don't think entry reqs are a good idea for any non end game Cryo type maps either. Give us reason to run every map like: Rotating "Hot Zones" with better loot More event spawns in general + make the events more rewarding. Just add more loot, the POIs feel empty a lot of the time. Perimeter is a really good map, it's a shame it loses relevance.

@nfmosphotos @adammocklerr No. I equate being antagonized to being disrespected. Its literally what I typed. Reading is fundamental. And if you purposely act in a way thats meant to disrespect or belittle someone on national television or anywhere else in public then you're volunteering for retribution.

@nfmosphotos @adammocklerr Im not a "MAGA" any more than you're a family friendly photographer. And theres a difference between just having an intelligent debate and intentionally antagonizing the opposing party. If you choose the second, then you've volunteered for whatever happens next.

@Mythoclast_X @DFPsheikh @MarathonDevTeam Same. I almost never use it offensively. If im going to ambush someone then I do it via positioning and controlling line of sight. Id prefer they have no idea I was even there until I killed them. Invis is more for breaking contact and rolling past UESC.

@SproggyStabs @DFPsheikh @MarathonDevTeam I don't even like using it if players are too close because of that. The strength is knowing when to use it. Tbf trying to use it as a crutch just gets you killed more often than not

Agreed - I hope @MarathonDevTeam are looking at the Solo experience - it has a massive amount of potential but needs some work

@ExoGhost Its an amazing game. Unfortunately, Its also exists within a niche genre and in a world where losers with nothing better to do will spread misinformation to keep people from wanting to try it solely because they have an axe to grind with Bungie.

What went wrong with Marathon? It was hyped as one of the best FPS games ever made with 10/10 reviews everywhere and now nobody is talking about it or playing it just 2 months later
