So I run a $1.3 billion budget per year in the black (meaning zero over spending) because I believe that government should not be spending more money than what it has.

More than five years after voting to convict President Trump in his impeachment trial, the Louisiana Republican senator has lost in his GOP primary.
In a Truth Social post, Trump reacted, saying “his disloyalty to the man who got him elected is now a part of legend, and it’s nice to see that his political career is OVER!”
Trump-backed Rep. Julia Letlow and Louisiana Treasurer John Fleming finished ahead of Cassidy, according to the AP, and will now face off in next month’s runoff.
