This is a fucking terrible idea.
There is already debate over whether we should even use KiwiSaver for first homes. But at least that’s an asset, that helps your future.
For a rental bond?? This will absolutely make people financially worse off.

I think everyone (who isn’t a c*nt) thinks the PM has had a bloody hard few years, from Christchurch to Whakaari then the pandemic. I absolutely respect (and believe) her reason for leaving. Thanks PM, you’ve done an amazing job in the most challenging period in our lifetime.
