Offset has been shot at a Florida casino and is currently in stable condition at a hospital. On Monday night (April 6), Offset was reportedly at a valet area near Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., when he was shot around 7 p.m. A spokesperson for Offset confirmed in a statement to XXL that the rapper is in stable condition at a local hospital. “We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,” the statement reads. “He is stable and being closely monitored.” According to TMZ, the Seminole Police Department provided details on the incident, in which two individuals were detained. "We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood," a rep said. "Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal." XXL has reached out to the Seminole Police Department and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for comment. Video footage shows what appears to be the scene, reportedly after the shooting, and police detaining several men.
