@Spysniper22 @MrBeast If even one person picks blue they're dead. Statistically about 30 to 50% will pick blue... That's 4 billion people.

@pubity Some of us tried to stop the mandate:

Federal law says new cars after 2026 must monitor drivers and shut down if the car disapproves. Your dashboard should not be judge, jury, and executioner. @RepScottPerry @RepChipRoy offered an amendment to defund the automobile kill switch mandate. Here’s our debate:

I'm increasingly convinced that there is never going to be a major crash again. The market is so divorced from the "real" economy that 90% of the population could be eating dirt and the S&P would still be noting record gains.

BREAKING: The S&P 500 erases all losses and turns green on the day as the US begins its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

@Somone85320 @ftharm1 @Bulvarpress None of this is needed to train the dog you retard. How may dog trainers have you seen treat a dog like this? This is a dog who will be in fear, much like a beaten dog, he will still attack. This guy is getting a high off man handling a dog with a muzzle on like a pussy

dude computers are actually so fucking insane when you really think about it. we literally figured out how to write some fake-ass rules called code and somehow convinced rocks to follow them. like actual rocks. sand, melted, purified, carved into tiny pathways where electricity just flows in patterns. that’s it. that’s the whole magic.
and yet from that we get operating systems, compilers, kernels, networks, distributed systems, machine learning models, entire virtual worlds running inside other virtual worlds. billions of tiny electrical decisions per second, all because we defined some abstract logic.
humans basically invented a language of instructions and taught matter itself to execute it.

@hamptonism Being the smartest dude in the room? I honestly don’t know. I’m guessing.

You have to come to terms with fact that the thing you do well might not matter at a given time. That is something a lot of traders have trouble accepting. They always want to believe that they can do something better than anyone else in any environment.

$HOOD → @VladTenev on Robinhood’s move away from indexing:
"We made a bet in the other direction that, in fact, no: people wanna move away from indexes. They actually wanna express their viewpoints more precisely. And so you're seeing more granular investments, individual equities; but not just individual equities: you're seeing options trading, the rise of zero day options, same day expiry. And I think prediction markets are a continuation of that..."
"What people really want is to invest in an individual private company as easily as they can invest in a public stock. And maybe they want an individual piece of land or a property in a neighborhood that they think is gonna do well, rather than just some like commercial real estate fund that has a portfolio everywhere.
Because they can better understand whether that's gonna go up or down. And I think we're moving in that direction."
