WWE:

🚨⚪️⚫️ Juventus keep advancing in talks to sign Randal Kolo Muani from PSG with final answer to follow soon. Deal currently complicated for Dibu Martínez as talks are in complete stand-by. Aston Villa request, considered too high. 🎥🇮🇹 youtu.be/Lc3AVAU2NmQ

@SiNuTrmon @DavideJuventuss It's because I'm in Italy and using a European SIM. It believes I'm a bot or some stupidity that Elon instituted, even though the entire fucking platform is a bot farm for goyslop.

🎥 The AJC 🏳️🏴
‼️🤦🏻‍♂️ The precise moment that Paolo Maldini decided to resign from the Italian national team during his one on one meeting with Malago: “Pirlo was an unfortunate choice, but the president is me. Having reached this point, I take responsibility. And I decide." End of discussion and departure confirmed. Maldini had already accepted the position as technical director with a lot of doubts and without great enthusiasm. He quickly understood that Malagò would not confront the Serie A clubs, politics, and controversies to protect him. Maldini also discovered that the promised autonomy was not real, as Malagò was under too much pressure(@repubblica )

@DavideJuventuss @SiNuTrmon Motta's Bologna was the lowest scoring top 10 side in Serie A and with Juve, they were literally allergic to scoring goals.

@mfava83 @KMak_14 And people agreeing with it are even sillier. It's as if they wanted Maldini and Leonardo to be the yes men that every other NT executive was before them.

🚨 Roy Keane on Paolo Maldini and Leonardo resigning from the Italian Football Federation: “I don’t like it one bit. To me, it’s childish. You don’t walk away from a project because you didn’t get your preferred manager. Football doesn’t work like that.” “People keep talking about loyalty and principles, and that’s fine. Stand by your opinion, argue your case, but once the decision is made, your job is to get on with it. That’s what leaders do. They don’t throw their toys out of the pram because things didn’t go their way.” “Maldini and Leonardo are football legends. Nobody questions what they’ve achieved as players, but this isn’t about reputations. This is about responsibility. Italy are trying to rebuild after years of disappointment, and they needed experienced football people to help steady the ship. Walking away after just a couple of weeks sends the wrong message to everyone involved.” “Not every decision in football is going to go your way. I’ve been in dressing rooms where managers, players and directors disagreed all the time. The best people don’t quit—they find a way to make it work. If you only stay when everyone agrees with you, then you’re in the wrong job.” “For me, it’s poor leadership. If you truly believed in rebuilding Italian football, you stay, you fight for your ideas and you prove your value over time. Leaving because your first choice wasn’t appointed? I can’t respect that. That’s not how strong football people operate.”

@khaledalnouss1 @mfava83 How do you not understand that it had nothing to do with the choice of coach. Paolo understood that if the federation wouldn't back him with something as miniscule as choosing a coach, what chance is there that they would back him with a league wide revolution?

@mfava83 Because Maldini is just as arrogant as these people, his ego isn’t that different. If you come in with a real project, the coach’s name won’t matter that much, we all know Pep was never coming anyway.

They are REALLY hammering the fact that Brock has NEVER lost in HIAC. I believe he will on Saturday, and you won't see Brock Lesnar for an extended period of time. #WWERAW #SummerSlam

@khaledalnouss1 I disagree. What Italy do over the next few years is irrelevant. There is a deep rot at the heart of Italian football & there needs to be a revolution in order to fix it. Conte is just a bandaid over a gaping wound. You need a coach who can sync with Maldini & his ideas/direction

@KMak_14 Awful take. They were hired to do a job and their first action in that role was dismissed, ignored and vetoed. You'd rather he stay and be a dancing monkey for what we clearly know is an incompetent federation?

@ITruth98 It doesn't matter at this point. Italian football is on its last breath and the end is near. Serie A is a dungeon for washed up retirement players, the NT is purposely fighting against its own revival and no coach is going to fix anything. It's over.

Conte is the best and most viable option for the Azzurri for the simple fact that his expertise has always been building foundations and elevating sides beyond their means. I've no doubt Antonio wouldn't last until the 2030 World Cup, but he'd leave us better than he found us.

@MarcoJacks0n @FabrizioRomano The Italian federation does not want to be associated with Russia it's as simple as than. It's not attack on maldini. There are hundreds of other managers who are not associated with Russia

🚨🇮🇹 Paolo Maldini and Leonardo RESIGN from their roles as Italy Federation technical director and advisor. Decision to leave the project just 10 days after joining due to president Malagò being against appointing Andrea Pirlo as new head coach for Italian national team. The president didn’t approve Pirlo due to his connections with Russian brands; Maldini and Leonardo only wanted Pirlo and leave their roles immediately.
