Tony Khan says there's a high chance Mick Foley will be at AEW Redemption in Montreal: “I can’t say 100% for certain, but I think there’s a very high likelihood that Mick will be attending and hosting [Redemption] in Montreal. I’m a huge fan of Mick. I’ve grown up watching him. Cactus Jack was one of my favourite villains in my childhood, and I’m really excited to have Cactus Jack coming back to TBS now as part of AEW.” (Toronto Sun)

AEW is currently living in a BIZARRE paradox. While the Nielsen ratings might suggest a cooling audience, the actual HARD DATA from Double or Nothing tells a completely different story. We are talking about a sold-out arena, secondary market tickets fetching 3X face value, and pay-per-view orders defying the recent trend of stagnation. Conrad and Jeff Jarrett break down why the "ratings are down" narrative is failing to capture the full picture. Jarrett argues the metrics are shifting and we have to stop relying on archaic systems to judge success. Is the industry finally evolving past the Nielsen era? Or is AEW just an anomaly in a dying market? WATCH THE FULL BREAKDOWN. 👇 (source: My World With Jeff Jarrett @MyWorldPod)

@RingsideFeed They sell well for ONE show and you're saying its a paradox? Look at the ratings, look at weekly attendance. The go-home show for DoN did just 3K in a 6.5K arena

@DKarovich Not to mention he's been hired for 12 months now at an Italian club and knows less Italian today than the day he was hired.

@DKarovich He also delayed finding a DS for 5 months, which forced him to do transfers, and he landed us Openda on the worst possible deal, while again, forcing through deals from an incompetent manager. His track record sucks and his attitude is dog shit. He's a problem, period.

@DKarovich So, just to be clear: Juve hired a GM because the last management failed. New GM comes in and processes all the deals that failed management agreed to, despite knowing they failed. I should give benefit to new GM who was stupid enough to respect deals from incompetent mgmt?

@Squeegex2 That deal was already pre-agreed in January by Mendes shenanigans whem we signed Alberto Costa from Vitoria while both Porto and Sporting were interested. Also Conceicao deal depended on that swap to because Porto wanted something in return from that loan deal.

@DKarovich Also, the idea were pinning the Mario/Costa deal on the previous management is silly. The deal was completed at the end of July. There is a 0% chance in reality that they held off on the deal for 2 months, despite it being agreed at the beginning of June. That was all Comolli.

@Squeegex2 I can't agree on him having dog shit mentality when is the only one repeating it's goal to build winning Juventus while Spalletti is mentioning good season when we finished 6th and Chiellini is speaking about keeping Vlahović.

@DKarovich So, he chose not to cancel any agreed work, which means he was okay with them. If he wasn't, and went ahead with it anyways, he's incompetent. Either way, the buck stops at him choosing the wrong coach, the wrong players, and having a dog shit mentality.

@Squeegex2 It was already agreed to continue with Tudor if he gets us to top 4 and Comolli simple decided to not cancel any already agreed work (David, Tudor, Costa/Mario swap, Gatti renewal). He could have, but decided to respect already done deals.

@Squeegex2 No, confirmation of Tudor wasn't Comolli's decision. Parties agreed on keeping him before Comolli's arrival and after CWC it was too late to change the coach. For Kolo Muani we tried everything and for Veiga there was simply to conditions to sign him.

@DKarovich He was our manager, was he not? A manager that Comolli himself decided to put his faith in last Summer, when he had free reign to get any manager he wanted...

@DKarovich Didn't Tudor only ask for Muani and Veiga and instead got Openda and David and not even a CB?

WWE reportedly has interest in bringing FTR back to the company. FTR is approaching their option year in their AEW contracts, and it is believed that WWE's interest in the team has been communicated to them via mutual contacts. There is no indication right now that AEW will be exiting AEW, but their future beyond the option year is unknown. Sources close to the situation believe that their work in AEW should place them, among AEW's top-tier acts financially. (Source: @BodyslamNet)
