The US Patent Office has revoked Nintendo's 2025 patent on summoning characters to battle on the player's behalf, either automatically or manually.
This is the same patent cited in Nintendo's legal action against Palworld.
Nintendo has two months to appeal the decision.
Does not automatically end the Palworld lawsuit, but weakens Nintendo's position on this mechanic.
