வீட்டில் wifi இணைய இணைப்புக் கொடுத்திருப்பீர்கள். வீட்டினுள் நுழையும் இடத்தில் ஹாலில் டிவிக்கு அருகில் மோடம் / ரெளட்டர் வைத்திருப்பார்கள். அதன் wifi பக்கத்தில் இருக்கும் அறைக்குச் சென்று கதவை மூடினால் பெரும்பாலும் கிடைக்காது. அல்லது இணைய வேகம் மிகக் குறைவாகத்தான் கிடைக்கும். அதற்கு wifi extender பலரும் உபயோகப்படுத்துவோம். இதுவும் wired / wireless என்று உள்ளன. தரைத்தளத்தில் wifi router வைத்து விட்டு, மேல் தளத்தில் தேவை என்றால் wired wifi extender உபயோகிக்கலாம். wireless-ஐ விட wired நல்ல வேகம் தரும். அது ஏற்கனவே உள்ள ரெளட்டரிலிருந்து கிடைக்கும் இணைய இணைப்பை உள் வாங்கி அடுத்த அறையில் முழுதும் கொடுக்கும். ஆனால் அதிலும் என்ன பிரச்னை என்றால்.. அதுவும் முழு வேகத்தைத் தராது. தவிர இந்த wifi extender-க்கு தனி wifi name இருக்கும். இப்போதைய பெரும்பாலான மொபைல்களில் எந்த இணைய இணைப்பு நன்றாக, வேகமாக இருக்கிறதோ.. அதற்குத் தானாகவே மாறும் தன்மை உண்டு. ஆனால் சில காலத்துக்கு முந்தைய போன்களாக இருந்தால் அந்த வசதி கிடையாது. நீங்கள் ஹாலுக்குச் செல்லும் போது அங்குள்ள wifiயில் இணைத்து விட்டு, ரூமுக்குச் செல்லும் போது அங்குள்ள wifi extender-ல் இணைக்க வேண்டும். ஒவ்வொரு தடவையும் இது இம்சையே! இந்தப் பிரச்னையைத் தீர்க்கத்தான் Mesh என்ற கருவி பயன்படுகிறது. ஜியோவைப் பொறுத்தவரை அவர்களுடைய Fiber router ஒரு சிறு வீட்டுக்குள் அனைத்து அறைகளுக்கும் ஓரளவு வேகத்துடன் இணைப்பு தரும். அப்படி இல்லையென்றால் அவர்களிடமே wifi mesh extender என்று இருக்கிறது. அதை வாங்கி வைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். ரூ. 2,499-லிருந்து கிடைக்கிறது. ஏர்டெல் என்றால் மாதம் ரூ. 99 வாடகைக்கு இதைத் தருகிறார்கள். (ஜியோவில் இப்படி மாத வாடகைக்குத் தருகிறார்களா என்று தெரியவில்லை). அமேஸான் போன்ற தளங்களில் TP-Link Mesh என்று தேடினால் பல கிடைக்கும். அவற்றையும் வாங்கிப் பயன்படுத்தலாம். இது குறித்து முன்பே சில தடவை நான் எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். நீங்களும் கூகுளிட்டுப் பாருங்கள். இந்த mesh இருந்தால் ஒவ்வொரு அறைக்கும் செல்லும் போது இணைய இணைப்பு பெரும்பாலும் ஒரே போலக் கிடைக்கும். அல்லது 20 முதல் 30% வரை மட்டுமே குறைவாகக் கிடைக்கும். முக்கியமாக ஒவ்வொரு அறைக்குச் செல்லும் போதும் Wifi மாற்றிக் கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டாம். ஒரே wifi-யிலேயே இணைந்தது போல வேலை செய்யும். தேவைப்படுவோர் வாங்கிப் பயனடையவும். இது விளம்பரப் பதிவல்ல. அனுபவப் பகிர்வு.

Due to network feasibility issues, I am porting out an @Airtel_Presence prepaid number to @JioCare . I received no calls from Airtel, but they rejected the request stating 'incorrect UCC code', which is untrue. Jio dealer says this is very common nowadays! :(

@mayavarathaan @Airtel_Presence @JioCare nothing specific. just wanted to give a try, and picked that 350rs plan. till now going good. recently started travelling a lot, airtel 0 coverage in hills, exhausted and ported to jio after 15 yrs of airtel usage, and jio not even a single drop and perfect coverage
