Declan Rice has not had his best season with Arsenal and for me I think it’s heavily due to helping Zubimendi settle.

Before people start pushing false narratives. This was Arsenal in the first half with Havertz vs in the second half with Gyokeres. Arsenal got up the pitch more, stretched Newcastle’s back line, gained more territory in the final third, and created more xG with Gyokeres on the pitch in the second half than they did with Havertz in the first.

We have smoke for Zubimendi every time but Rice has also been awful for a long time. Anyways, he runs around well so that should be enough.

Ok let’s have a fair chat on Odegaard I actually think in the first half we played some great football because he connected us 2nd half the game became end to end and physical and I think he really struggled (injury history maybe a factor) But this… this is just such a horrible pass to play. It’s the wrong one offensively AND defensively. And telling the fans to calm down and then raise the noise. I’m at war with fans over this but please just fucking stop doing this I believe Arsenal’s best version has him in it though - so just keep chipping away at it and hope 🙏
