Year 6 had their first session with Hands Project today and absolutely loved it! We learned how to sign our favourite colours and even started to learn a song 👏🎶😁

This week in Reception, during To Know You More Clearly, we learned the scripture “Love one another as I have loved you.” 💛 We showed love through kind words and actions, shared compliments, helped one another, and enjoyed hand massages from Miss T. 🤝✨

In Todays PATHS lesson, we listened to the story Twiggle Learns to do Turtle. This story helped us to learn how to do “turtle” when we have a strong uncomfortable feeling like angry or upset. We are going to remember to use this as a way to help us to calm down. @StPPPrimary

In Maths Mastery today, we have been grouping objects into 2s (pairs) and identifying when there is an ‘odd one out’. @NCETM

During our Understanding of the World topic, Reception enjoyed going on a frosty walk today. We talked about changes which we noticed outdoors. We were very interested to find out about Arctic animals and explored what happened to ice when we brought it indoors 🧊 ❄️

Today in Art, Y6 explored the beautiful work of Maria Sybilla Merian. We practised mark-making with pencils before creating careful observational drawings of insects inspired by her studies 🎨🦋🐞🦟

In Art, we have started to learn about our artist for this half term- Friedensreich Hundertwasser. 🎨🖌️🖼️
