@RobKuhn_ ACR took debit card deposit, charged 10% fee for the privilege yet can’t process withdrawal back to same card so not a great experience at all tbh. Cant play a site under those conditions. Sadly no warnings when depositing that withdrawals are not possible either.

@ICuRaRook I guess you can throw solver out the window a bit here as the squeeze in a tournament of this magnitude off that stack looks insanely strong and you might be a bit leery about the big stack flatting too. Tricky decision tbf.

2025 was an intense year, with 3 outright wins and several deep runs with HUGE money up top. I plan to tackle 2026 the same way. As much volume and study as I can do whilst still taking care of myself and my family. What are you going to do to make 2026 a success? #Poker #newyear #pokeronline #ad @888poker #pokerlife

@Golfpunter1 @chrisgambler247 That is an insanely naive view from Matt ZC. Does he really think shareholders will say ‘it’s ok lads, we’ll just take the hit’ 🤣

Absolutely astonishing comment from such a big voice in the debate. Over 80% of online casino ggy is from slots and the return to player can be adjusted to increase margin. Promotions and bonuses can also be adjusted to push up the effective margin.

@charker_darren How can that happen with fixed margin products like casino table games? Ludicrous argument

@nickgoff79 So tax gambling companies more which leads to folk that gamble but cannot afford to losing more (as bookies will likely address via margin management) and therefore their children probably suffer more as a consequence. Worse still they’re driven underground with no control.

I agree with taxing online casinos a (little) bit more. But this type of framing - or indeed suggesting that any specific tax will automatically lead to the eradication of anything - is not just flawed, but deliberately misleading. Politicians should have to be better than this.

At @10DowningStreet with @AlexBallingerMP, @BeccyCooper4Lab and @38degrees to hand in the petition. Lets tax gambling giants and fund the fight against child poverty. 67,256 people have spoken. Scrap the two-child limit and lift 500,000 children out of poverty.

Short of cutting his arm off it’s difficult to know what Tarkowski’s supposed to do. Refs told to look for 3 things with handball. Deliberate movement of arm away from body. None. Clear additional arm movement. None. Arm position makes body position bigger & is unjustifiable. No.

@andrewpakes_ Sensationalist nonsense ‘getting control of our high streets’ … probably better off investing more money in crime prevention/detection to get control

⭐️ New gambling shop blocked ⭐️ Peterborough City Council has turned down the application to turn the former Wilko store into a gambling & fruit machine place. This is good news for the city. A huge thank you to everyone who has been in touch with me about it. This decision reflects growing concerns about the increasing number of gambling outlets in Peterborough’s city centre and other parts of the country. The law is still tough for councils on this so we need changes to make it easier for decisions like this. It’s why I am working with MPs and councils to change the law on gambling and planning so that we can get control back for our High Streets. @peter_bolster @Cav_TRF Or Liverpool didn’t feel he is worth the scale of investment that a competitor does so employee decided to move on. That’s on Liverpool, not the player.

I can tell you your opinion is wrong, Jürgen. ‘The boy’ gave us unforgettable moments — that’s not in question. It’s precisely because of those moments that so many felt something deeper. But let’s not rewrite the story: he became who he is because of Liverpool — the faith, the platform, the people. Running down his contract wasn’t just strategic — it was calculated. It allowed a club that’s beaten us in 2 CL finals to take one of our own for nothing. That’s not just business. That’s betrayal — of trust, of values, of what this club stands for. You switched the telly off? Maybe that’s the difference. You see the individual. We see the institution — the shared standard, the collective sacrifice. Liverpool isn’t just about moments or talent. It’s about loyalty, legacy, and love returned. And when that’s broken, it matters. No one is bigger than the club — not even you.
