Farley update: It’s been about 19 days since his jaw cancer surgery (partial mandibulectomy on March 2), and what a turnaround. We went from the gut-wrenching fear of potentially losing our little guy—watching him head into the OR with those big ears and brave eyes, not knowing if he’d make it through—to today where he’s back to his old self! 🐾❤️ Ears perked, tongue out, bundled up warm in his red sweater against the Halifax chill, looking out at the world like nothing happened. He’s eating blended meals like a champ, full of energy, and that spark is fully back. Tumor removed, no spread, and he’s healing strong—proof of how tough this tiny Chihuahua is. From the darkest “what if” moments to this happy outdoor cuddle shot… we couldn’t have gotten here without the incredible Maritime Vet team and EVERY ONE OF YOU who shared, donated, prayed, and sent love. Spirits are high, eyes bright, ears perked, and that classic Farley energy is shining through stronger every day. Seeing him chow down so eagerly after everything is the best feeling—tumor gone, home healing, and adapting like the fighter he is. Blended soft foods are key right now (small frequent feeds, moist and easy to manage), and this combo seems to be a winner! Farley is HOME and resting comfortably now 🐾❤️ Our brave little guy made it through the big surgery and the hospital stay like a total champ. He’s cozy on the bed, cone on (looking adorably ridiculous as always), and just chilling while he heals up from the jaw removal. Tumor’s gone, and now it’s all about soft foods, meds, lots of love, and taking it easy—no more vet hotel for him! Seeing him back in his favorite spot, ears flopped and eyes sleepy, melts my heart after everything.
