More than 700 business leaders gathered today for the Long Island Association’s annual "What’s New in Washington" event. LIA Acting President & CEO Stacey Sikes moderated a conversation with members of the Long Island Congressional Delegation, including @RepLaLota (NY-01), @RepGarbarino (NY-02), @RepTomSuozzi (NY-03), and @RepLauraGillen (NY-04). The discussion covered key national issues impacting Long Island, including the economy and affordability, energy, U.S. military operations in Iran, and immigration policy. The LIA is celebrating its Centennial in 2026 and continues to offer opportunities for the regional business community to engage with policymakers so we can advocate for economic growth.
