One of the most jarring things about adulthood is the realization of how many truly incompetent people are in the most important jobs. When I was a kid, I just assumed everyone “important” was smart or they wouldn’t be important. Boy, was that fucking wrong.

34 years as a rural mail carrier, and a bunch of those incompetent higher-ups were at the plant in Richmond, calling the shots while not understanding a damn thing about the realities of rural mail delivery. I left it all behind when I retired this March. Ha ha, kiss my ass, you overpaid, not knowing what the fuck you doing, the primary reason the Post Office is in a hole, upper and middle management bufoons.
