@ericmigi I hope the holes in the lugs for the spring bars get cleaned up a little on the final product. It looks like a tiny lip from the casting or drilling process. Putting on spring bars with a burr can make it finicky sometimes.

While investigating some cnc weirdness, I learnef that the Chinese word for watch lug is 'strap ear'. Cute 😀

First China trip since...January! I'm here to review the Pebble Index 01 and Round 2 assembly lines, sign limit samples and catch up with friends/suppliers (sometimes they are both!). Staying overnight in Dongguan - the first time I visited here was in 2012, lots of changes!

@ericmigi @Pebble Just pre-ordered mine. It wasn't stated on the pre-order website but will you be able to take the detachable spring bars out of the factory straps and utilize them for other straps like a nato strap?

I found a cosmetic issue that we needed to fix (an indentation from CNC milling near where the watch lug connects to the watch case - see picture). It was a tough call, because we were so close to starting mass production. We’re modifying the metal-injection-moulding tooling now to avoid this CNC cut. I really wish we could have started MP sooner, but I guarantee that it will be worth the wait!

@DoesItPlay1 @CoalitionGears Was on the fence about dark age as someone who enjoyed the last two games. Nah hard pass. I would have picked up Horizon if they offered a physical copy with the game on it.

The amount of people canceling their pre-orders or outright skipping #DoomTheDarkAges because of the botched physical release is huge. We always get these comments in our bubble, but this time it is disproportionate. One can only hope that @CoalitionGears is watching closely.

Lol what the heck @YouTube I tried recommending a translation app to some traveling YouTubers and your bots flagged it as spam/scam because I said it did a much better job at translating conversation in Korean than the Google app. Kinda sus and thanks for the 1 day comment ban.
