@HEYJBMC @venturemike1 @Freelancers_USA Also weird to me is the notion of "I don't make any money but look at all these other benefits?" Do those pay the rent, can you even own a car?

@SecMartyWalsh If union leaders didn't keep trying to destroy the ability to freelance or work as an independent contractor, I might. Right now, I'm too busy trying to ensure the small biz I built over 20-some years isn't eliminated w/ the stroke of a pen. #NoProAct #FightForFreelancers

@SecMartyWalsh And thank the Dept of Labor for some fine policing work that has convicted over 50 union bosses, treasurers, etc for various financial crimes in the past 6 months. Since it is generally accepted that only 3% of white collar criminals get caught, another 1500 having a GOOD weekend

Is this the train of thought we want representing America? Let's pass a bad bill #AB5 to satisfy our Big Labor donors. We'll exempt it later. We'll double-down on AB5 with #PROact to keep Big Labor happy nationwide. Who cares if we extinguish 59 million independent contractors.

@phoemama @StephenWelsh22 @LorenaAD80 No, it dramatically expanded it. The ruling stated it specifically only applied to wages for drivers not the 300+ other categories of independent professionals who make a good deal of money. Besides, the court does not make law, the legislature does. There was no need for AB5!
