@LorenaSGonzalez #AB5? Yes, I agree a California Assembly member being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by corrupt labor unions to destroy hundreds of thousands of careers and lives is PATHETIC. "Criminal" is another word used to describe what you happily did to the independent contractors.

@MWPexplains @LorenaSGonzalez I'm thankful I've never been desperate enough to have to take a union job. My abilities have allowed me to have good jobs without giving away a chunk of my pay to a labor union that does nothing except protect horrible employees who don't work for them and deserve to be fired.

@LorenaSGonzalez @chesaboudin This terrible take is very on-brand. Assembly member Gonzalez has the distinction, with AB5, of being one of the only legislators in the history of American democracy to draft a law that has *only* achieved unintended consequences. That’s hall-of-fame level ineptitude.
