How do you sum up what robbo and mo have done for liverpool. Hard to believe this will be the last time they grace anfield in Liverpool red. Legends in every sense of the word

@N8vaWalkAlone That for me is the reason to replace him. Players dont look fit or prepared cause they're not. With klopp it took time to get the team playing his way but you could always see the process. Cant see it with slot, couldn't tell you what type of football we're looking to play

Can it be as simple as Barcola on the left, Diomande on the right with options of Ekitike or Isak in the middle, under a manager who attacks.... Cause to my mind, the answer is simply, yes.

I reckon we are going to get 2 wide forwards this summer: 1 more expensive target, I would say ranked in terms of what the clubs preference would be: 🥇 Olise (Nearly Impossible) 🥈 Barcola (Experienced and out of favour at PSG) 🥉 Diomande (Less experienced in a top 5 league so more of a risk but extremely high potential) And then for the second target that price band and group below the above 3 of in whatever way preference falls. 🥇 Minteh (Prem experience, lacks consistency at times but again could go up a level in terms of output) 🥈 Bazoumana Touré (Still very raw but bags of potential) 🥉 Rayan (Super talent, might make sense especially if we end up with Iraola, Bournemouth would probably be seeking double what they paid so unlikely) Will be very interesting to see what we end up doing. In terms of preference, who do you want to see us sign?

Yan Diomande is 45 senior appearances into his career. Leipzig are categorically insane if they want a club to pay €100m for him. And any club who is willing to pay it is also insane

Crystal Palace lost Captain and best player Guehi in winter window and somehow made it to Conference league final. Iraola lost his best player Semenyo in winter window and now fighting for UCL or Europa league spot. So many coaches soldier on losing best players. Arne slot with such an expensive squad should have had no excuses.

Think this is a very likely scenario. Think they’ll look to solve it with Gakpo and hopefully the likes of Danns can be ready for a role, possibly a ‘multifunctional forward/winger’ can step in as well. If they’d buy/add it would probably be a short term thing.

@Staf9 Yeah, think we can probably afford to add one more midfielder without a big sale from the group but if we want one on top then one will definitely have to move.

He’s probably one of the ‘sellable assets’ this summer I imagine but I don’t think anyone at the club wants him gone. Him finding his form again would be such a big boost for us, think he’s one of those who you can pair with almost anyone in midfield no matter the style you play.

@Olafur_Tomasson I have a feeling he may want a move. He did want a release clause in his contract. If we buy a mobile CDM with wharton I think macca will defo go

@Staf9 I’m resigned to the idea of him probably leaving but the ideal scenario for me is us doing Wharton and keeping Mac Allister.
