In Bakewell today for the @EnvAgency & @Derbyshirecc flood resilience event. Met the team which included @StaffsGeography graduate Chris Jones. Very much a #ProudToBeStaffs moment to see Chris in his professional role keeping householders (like my dad) protected from flooding.

In 2001 after the foot & mouth closures there was a spike in @MountainResqUK reported deaths. This was likely due to older walkers keenly returning to the fells and mountains without their usual cardiac fitness. Please share and RT for awareness @Team_BMC @MtnTraining @BMC_Walk
