Hey @GovMurphy @NYCMayor @NYGovCuomo want to tell me how it is ok to be on a packed bus with over 50 people sitting on too of each other but I can not go to a gym or eat inside at a high capacity. You and @NJTRANSIT have failed us as usual.

@NJTRANSIT @StageNat83 NJ Transit, work with him. Do you require a note from his doctor? Nat has a valid point regarding laptops and other battery operated items. Ban one, then ban all. Or make a medical exception for him.

@NJTRANSIT What is the concern if there are in cargo hold? Are you going to@ban laptops, smart bags, and anything else with a battery???? This is nonsense. Ya’ll should expect a lot of complaints coming!

@StageNat83 Hi Nat, we put this policy in place because of concerns about the safety of batteries used in motorized scooters. Non-motorized scooters are permitted throughout our system.-HF

Hey @NJTRANSIT why is my bua driver telling me I can not put my scooter , that folds up, underneath the bus!? I use it as a form of commuting due to a bum ankle and it is never in the eay or on a seat. The bus driver is basically telling me to figure out a new commute to work.

@StageNat83 Thanks Nat. Unfortunately, Scooters and bikes with motors are not permitted on any trains, buses, light rail or Access Link vehicles. Customers are not permitted to ride, charge, store or transport these devices anywhere on NJ TRANSIT's system. -CM

Guy rides my bus eveyday with same scooter. Never a problem.
