Where SC politics meets the sportsbook. Weekly odds on who’s up, who’s down, and who’s just plain dumb. parody.

A lackluster debate won’t change this race. @NancyMace remains the front runner, followed closely by @AGAlanWilson and @PamelaEvette. @RalphNorman is asleep at wheel. Is the only real disruptor left a Donald Trump endorsement?

Very disappointed to see @brandonnewton7 do the bidding of the McKissick Cabal without reading the bill. The version the senate sent over has nothing in it about making county party officials or the state parties register as lobbyist principals. He knows that. Sad.
CJ Westfall@cjwestfall

Today @BrandonNewton7 flat out lied that the amended version of H3570 would apply to County Party Chairman, here's the proof of when the bill changed on the floor of the Senate. The bill had a narrow focus, and below is the proof. Brandon couldn't make a valid argument against having the State Party Chairman filing an SEI, so like I expected, they used misinformation to fear monger and kill the effort. That's okay, thank you to everyone for speaking up on this issue! We'll get it next year!

@fitsnews @SCGOP Senate unanimously passed the amended version ONLY requiring state party chair to file an SEI, and Rep. Newton purposely mislead his colleagues into believing the bill requires county parties and state party to be registered as lobbyist principals – as disputed in the vid above.

@fitsnews @SCGOP The confusion campaign is part of the spin to keep those making money whole. If not, why would anyone fight a disclosure that doesn’t even require the amount of money? Just the entities paying.

Laura Loomer is attacking @davidpascoesc That should tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about this AG race David Pascoe has my endorsement and FULL support
Laura Loomer@LauraLoomer

EXCLUSIVE: Sources in South Carolina tell me President Trump was prepared to publicly call out David Pascoe @davidpascoesc — the longtime Democrat and Biden supporter now running for Attorney General as a so-called “Republican”, but Pam Evette’s @PamelaEvette political consultants have been shielding Pascoe. They are working hand-in-glove to try to get the White House political team to protect Pascoe, who is deceiving voters daily by pretending to be a Republican when he’s always been a lifelong Democrat. Pam is running for Governor of South Carolina as a Republican. So why exactly are some of her consultants running interference for a Democrat-in-disguise in the AG race? South Carolina deserves a real conservatives AG, not a party-switcher who is protected by establishment consultants and the Biden crime family.

South Carolina Republicans — this matters. Today, the South Carolina Senate voted 40-0 to pass an amendment to H.3570 that would bring more transparency and accountability to our state party leadership. The amendment would require the SCGOP Chairman to file a Statement of Economic Interest so Republicans can see where money and influence are coming from. It would also require individuals being paid to advocate on legislation to register as lobbyists — something most people would consider common sense. Now, the House must decide whether to concur with the Senate amendment. Unfortunately, misinformation is already spreading to try and scare county party leaders and grassroots activists into opposing this bill. Let’s be clear: this legislation was specifically tightened to apply to state party leadership — not county chairs volunteering in their local communities. This isn’t about attacking anyone. It’s about transparency, accountability, and restoring trust through sunlight. Be respectful. Be positive. Be principled. Call, text, or email your State House Representative and ask them to vote YES on H.3570 as amended and concur with the Senate changes. South Carolina Republicans deserve to know where the money is coming from and what special interests are trying to influence the direction of our party.

@TerryHardesty2 @cjwestfall 😂😂 Terry how in the world does the #DrewCrew have you defending this one? Last time it was county parties would have to disclose and register (FALSE), now it’s the party becomes a lobbyist principle (FALSE), so good, we’re now to privacy. This is about conflicts of interests.

@cjwestfall The statement of economic law currently applies to public officials. Elected and those seeking election and those entrusted with public funds. Political parties are private groups of like minded people and this idea violates their privacy.

3 of the 5 State Senators that voted no are in your Congressional District. Please enlighten us on what you did to try & get them to a yes (I suspect nothing) & how, as Governor, you could have moved the votes of State Senators that you couldn’t even move as their Congresswoman?
Nancy Mace@NancyMace

Never thought I'd see "Republican" legislators in the South Carolina Senate defending race-based gerrymandering - but here we are. Two of my opponents wasted whatever was left of their political capital today to embarrass themselves at the statehouse. We need a Governor who the statehouse will fear and listen to. You know I'd whip every single "NO" vote into shape if I was Governor.

@JoeBReporter Why is the Attorney General standing with someone announcing he’s suing the State he’s charged with defending in federal court? Does this mean the AG’s office will have to hire more outside counsel to defend the state? Maybe his old firm needs a final payday?

Can we stop pretending that Democrats drew our congressional lines? They were drawn by Republican staff in consultation with sitting members of Congress, including Ralph Norman and Nancy Mace. You can't be the arsonist and the firefighter at the same time.
