Interesting how in 2026 a bank @StanChartNG can let you open an account online, verify online, transact online, and hold your money online… …but when there’s an issue, suddenly the “solution” is to travel across the country to a physical branch because their own in-app upgrade feature doesn’t work. Even more interesting is marking my complaint as “resolved” after simply telling me to go to Lagos . That is not resolution. That is shifting the inconvenience to the customer. If your entire banking system is digital until the moment a customer urgently needs access to their money, then something is fundamentally wrong with the system.
