As a human and Repulican I do notnsupport what Trump said. I did not like Mueller but celebrating his death is not something that brings value or our country closer together. I am very disappointed in Trumps position as it take a bigger person to say, "I am sorry for your loss" even when it is hard to say. Libs are just as bad at this stuff. I stand with the majority who just want our country to be back to normal again. No name calling, no stupid agenda like boys in girls bathrooms. Just common sense humanity would be nice. President Trump you are the leader of the free world and many look up to you young and old. I support so much of what Trump has done but statements like this just push the country further back.

Sam Darnold was in the exact same situation with the Vikings last season. Great young coach, ELITE defense, all world WR, and a chance to lock up the division and 1 seed. Instead of continuing to play to the best of his ability like he had been all season, he decided he’d done enough to get a big payday and threw the final two games to avoid the one thing that could ruin that payday- an injury. Incredibly selfish move and not one that a true leader of men would ever make. Especially the type of leader that it takes to win a Super Bowl. Frankly I’m disgusted that he lucked into this situation in a season with Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow injured. There will always be an asterisk for that. The one silver lining as a Vikings fan is that I can confidently say we made the right decision moving on for JJ McCarthy. We have the type of leader and player it takes to win a Super Bowl. If the goal was to go 12-5 in 2025, then Darnold may have been the better short term play, but our goals are bigger than that.
