This is happening at a time when education is our most needed asset for development and growth. Our schools must never become theatres of fear; they should symbolise hope and the promise of a better future, not terror and uncertainty. I call on the relevant security agencies to act with urgency, deploy every available resource, and ensure the safe and unconditional rescue of all those abducted. At the same time, government at all levels must take deliberate steps to strengthen security around our schools and restore public confidence in our education system. My thoughts and prayers are with the affected families, the school community, and the people of Kogi State. We cannot continue to normalise these recurring tragedies.
