If you have a VPN on your device, can you also check if temporarily disabling it will make any difference while signing in? If the issues persist, please contact our support team at help@standardnotes.com, and they can help you troubleshoot this further 🙏

@StandardNotes can't login to Standard Notes from Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browser, like Brave, from the Windows desktop. Firefox works fine though. Any issue?

Hey @StandardNotes would it be too much to ask for you to bring back the feature that lets us embed YouTube videos?

Our team is aware that the Standard Notes app was removed from the Play Store, and they're actively working to have the app restored as soon as possible. At this time, we're unable to provide a definite timeline for when the app will be available again, so we'd like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime, please be advised that you can still download and install the Android app from our GitHub repository: github.com/standardnotes/… You may click or tap on the file named, "app-prod-release.apk", and you can run this on your Android device to install the Standard Notes app.

It was decided that Standard Notes will remain a separate app with its own subscriptions, so at the moment, there are no plans to integrate it with the Proton subscriptions and apps. @FrankieFaron @andyyen Hello, as mentioned on our blog post, there are no plans to include Standard Notes as part of the Proton subscriptions, so it will remain separate app with its own subscriptions 🙏

UPDATE: After CloudFlare implemented a fix on Nov 18, 2025, 14:42 UTC, all services on Standard Notes are back to normal. We'd like to thank everyone again for your patience on this.

Due to the ongoing CloudFlare outage, Standard Notes is also experiencing issues with its sync servers. We are continuing to monitor the status of the issue with CloudFlare, and we'll make sure to share another update once we confirm that the issue has been fully resolved. We'd like to apologize for the trouble nonetheless, and we ask for everyone's patience and understanding in the meantime.
