When I look at this #NHL jersey - and I’m sure others of my vintage would agree - it reminds me of the early expansion era. When we first began to pay attention to hockey. Around 9 and 10 years of age. When Scotty Bowman led the St. Louis #Blues to the #StanleyCup final every year, losing to the #Canadiens (twice) and the #NHLBruins. This home jersey belonged to Red Berenson, the first true star of the expansion West Division. But, the other names ring as familiar: Gary Sabourin, Tim Ecclestone, Ron Schock, Terry Crisp, Frank St. Marseille, Larry Keenan, Glenn Hall, Al Arbour, Bob and Barclay Plager. Seems like only yesterday. But, it is so long ago.🥹 #Habs #Leafs
