The data show that the bodies of 260 Albanians last seen in Meja/Mejë and the bodies of 52 Albanians last seen in Korenica/Korenicë were exhumed in Batajnica (BA02 and BA05) and returned to Kosovo. The bodies of another 11 persons last seen in Meja/Mejë were found immediately after the war—eight in Meja/Mejë, two in the cemetery in Brekovac/Brekoc, and one in the village of Jahoc. In Korenica/Korenicë, 13 bodies were found at the local cemetery, the bodies of two persons from Korenica/Korenicë were found in the cemetery in Brekovac/Brekoc, and 20 bodies were found in surrounding villages in the Gjakova/Đakovica municipality. The remains of 15 persons last seen in Meja/Mejë and one person last seen in Korenica/Korenicë have still not been found.

They were ordered to leave their villages and go to Albania, and in the village of Meje, at two checkpoints, police separated men from their families and killed them in the Hasanaj family meadow. The bodies were found in two mass graves in Batajnica.
