@scubapharmacist @Frag1771 Relatively new update to the AAAAI guidelines stating it is safe to give cefazolin in pts with PCN anaphylaxis or unknown allergy ☺️

@Frag1771 @StaphPharmacist I think he was stating that the pharmacist agrees. Unfortunately some hospitals have annoying protocols that require “clarification”

The surgery pharmacists response to me telling him all patients with PCN allergies can get cefazolin regardless of the reaction for pre op: “let’s go!” 🏇🏇🏇
