@KaoticLeftist From your lips to God's ears. The state house has some pretty progressive people in it I believe it's vital for the dfl to retake the iron range seats they were always the biggest union supporters having Republicans in those seats still makes me nauseous.

@FBallAnalysisYT Not to mention not having the sun warming Minnesota icy roads till 9 am every winter is a serious recipe for disaster. Anyone who lives anywhere near the Metro knows in the winter time before the sun rises those freeways are death traps.

The U.S. House will vote this week on whether or not to make daylight saving time permanent. Essentially, we would not change the clocks again (no "falling back"). As I've mentioned over the years, below are 3 options and how they would look in Indianapolis, IN: current system, year-round daylight saving time & year-round standard time. Year-round daylight saving time would result in a 9:02 AM sunrise and 6:23 PM sunset on the winter solstice.

@goblue_guru Driving to work on icy Minnesota roads in the dark with the sun not rising till almost 9 am... What could possibly go wrong? They tried this in the 1970s it lasted two years and was immediately reversed. If they wanna set a standard it should be standard time.
