That was in his 1966 paper that earned him his job at the Fed - if he was going to keep such ideas quiet henceforth... He also wrote about bank credit creation... That's why he recalled my 1993 paper about the Quantity Theory of Credit so well, reciting it when we met in 1997

@itsALLrisky Doge appears to be inflationary, but is not meaningfully so (fixed # of coins per unit time), whereas BTC is arguably deflationary to a fault. Transaction speed of Doge should ideally be a few orders of magnitude faster.
