An open letter to @AmazonMGMStudio This isn’t written in anger. It’s written out of love. For nearly 30 years, Stargate has meant something to millions of people around the world. It wasn’t just another television series. It was a universe we escaped into, a family we grew up with, and for many of us, a source of comfort during some of the hardest moments in our lives. Long after the final episode aired, we never left. We continue to create artwork, write stories, build props, attend conventions, rewatch every series, introduce new generations to the franchise, and campaign every single day through #SaveStargate. We have never stopped believing that this universe deserves another journey through the Gate. So our question is simple… Why the silence? We understand that businesses have plans, budgets and priorities. We understand that not every project gets made. But what we don’t understand is why a community that has remained so loyal for so long can’t even be acknowledged. We aren’t asking for promises. We aren’t demanding announcements. We’re simply asking for a conversation. A single message saying, “We hear you.” Acknowledging that this incredible community still exists would mean more than you probably realise. Every day the #SaveStargate movement grows because people refuse to let this universe fade away. Not because we’re living in the past, but because we genuinely believe Stargate still has stories worth telling.
