@MillwallDan85 @2ColdLK @bet365help @bet365 Appreciate that. I’m self aware enough to know that my experience isn’t everyone’s. I understand this market backwards but I can see how it confuses folks. And I’ve come across this exact market and query the last few years running across various socials. Something has to give!

@boostar83 @bondage3310 @2ColdLK @bet365help @bet365 After @bet365 dreadful decision to declare all Southampton bets in season acca's as "lost" instead of void (as every other major bookmaker rightfully did) & them losing thousands of punters over it, I am genuinely interested in your comment here & why you wouldn't give it up.

@PranavSriraman I’ve always wondered how that works in reality though. Like who wears the cost each time? If he starts to dine at his fav place on the regular it gets steep pretty quickly

Brunson took that paycut and I still don’t agree with it tbh but if they get this done hard to argue with the results he will never have to pay for another meal in the biggest city in the country ever in his life.

The last time the Knicks were in the Finals (1999), Madison Square Garden had 90 courtside seats. This year? 704! Seven rows on each side. On the bench side it goes: AA, BB, A, 1, 2, 3, 4 On the opposite side it goes: AA, A, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

@AndersPicks Always an interesting read to see those who understand the price is too big and those who in absolutes say “they won’t win 3-1 in a 4 game series”.

@Route2FI Can you please report back after the win over Iran and tell us what they are now trading at. I don’t think they increase by 40% but will be interested to see what unfolds all the same

Betting on Norway to win the FIFA World Cup. Well, it's not because I believe they can win it all, but because I think they will easily win over Iraq in their first match, and the odds will increase from 2,5c to 3,5c (a 40% increase). Meanwhile the odds for a simple victory 1X2 over Iraq is 1,27 (27%). I also think Norway will beat Senegal, which is match number 2, so the winner odds might increase more, but I prefer to sell after the Iraq match instead of speculating more. Norway -1,5 to 1,64 odds could be worth it too, but prefering the World Cup Winner bet instead in case the result will end 1-0. NFA. DYOR.

He’s definitely not alone. This same query pops up every year, and even across multiple sports. I conveyed that in my responses. Not sure what the solution is as it’s fairly evident what the market is imo, but I also understand not so much to a novice. Best I can come up with is a live link to the current handicap table in the pending betslip

@quevega @alandelmonte I’m not saying it’s not a bit silly but the pile on the poor kid because he doesn’t understand a handicap bet it’s mental. People talking to him like betting is some elite thing.

does anyone know how / why @Betfair_Aus can not pay out then void a market 2 days after completion?

I think Callum’s point is absolutely relevant. Yes this example is obvious at 1.02 but the voiding of markets for bot errors sets up a precedent (regardless if labelled as looking after market makers). Where the arbitrary cutoff for what defines an erroneous offering? Coz I can guarantee there’ll be instances where it’s a lot more grey area than 1.02 about approx evens. To dismiss it as irrelevant because this time it was obvious ignores the implications of and for future instances, and potential for freerolls by placing rogue bets and matching with a known associate as suits. We can all agree market makers need to be prioritised while also acknowledging a customer needs to know their bet is valid when struck. To see a winning bet at close to evens voided here would have most blowing up, and rightly so imo.

@bookiewatchdog No one knows where it stands going into the future, it's impossible to know. Should be no voiding of exchange markets.

1/ Not sure where I stand with this. Its a little complex. On one side of the argument its an exchange, the bet is struck if you make an error and youre matched thats it. Particularly after the event is run and won. On the other hand the 1.02 offered on an evens line is a clear

@jhorsewhisperer At a point now where we have to sweat the winners and then lather up in a sweat again for the payout. The relief when it actually hits the bank account is as good as any winner backed

I went outside last night and heard booming bass from what I thought was a neighbour having a backyard party. Turns out it was the Bruno Mars concert. Rogers Stadium is 13km (8 miles) from my house. I'm not even mad, I'm just fascinated by the physics of how that could happen.

@ahoy_there_ @AnthonyBetss But what about the thrill of seeing the large potential payout? That’s the whole reason these guys do these bets. To show their mates the legs ticked off on the way and the big potential numbers. No concept of what’s actually profitable or optimal.

@AnthonyBetss I don't understand, these events were months apart. If he wanted to cash out after the first two legs then why even put the Knicks leg in there? The ticket would have already won and it would have paid more than the cash out offer.
