@Richyfarrissey Seen your messages over the weekend. Well done for getting help sorted out, sometimes that's the hardest step. Hope the hand heals up well
I would like to thank everyone for the messages I got over the last few days, I had an assessment this morning with a Councillor so hopefully I'll be in therapy again very soon . Doctors app now at 4pm.
Thanks again everyone 🥰🥰🥰
@joedamaggio@righttobikeit There's no understanding that the delay they would experience waiting to pass safely, is negligible to their journey. It's mere seconds if even. I had a very similar journey yesterday and I was scared for the first time. Really rattled me
@righttobikeit There's something seriously wrong with the Irish driving mentality. It's no wonder the deaths and injuries stats are so bad for the population size. They literally don't give a fuck about you as long as they can pass without slowing down.
🚨🔴 Bryan Mbeumo has decided to give priority to Manchester United move this summer!
Despite interest from three clubs in Premier League, Mbeumo favours Man United move as @David_Ornstein reports.

Abuse in Mayo GAA Is a Two-Way Street, Which Many Choose to Ignore
I must say, I am truly shocked by the one-sided approach taken by local and national media regarding the issue of ‘abuse’ in Mayo GAA.
There has been no interest in, nor mention of the following:
•Robbing money
•Mismanagement of finances
•Humiliating people in a public stadium
•Slashing car tyres
•Verbally abusing and threatening vulnerable adults
•Verbally abusing adults
•Threatening phone calls
•Threatening livelihoods
•Threatening family members
•Smear campaigns
•Punishing clubs for raising concerns
•Punishing clubs for directing criticism at Board officials
•Telling blatant lies
•Setting up fake social media accounts in the names of deceased relatives of a victim
•A current Board member who, in 2019, specifically asked individuals for support to create a “burning platform” to get elected, and who now sits with the very individuals he once sought to destroy
•The same individual later passed confidential information to a group in order to damage people he now sits alongside and now claims he is the one being abused
•The same individual reached out to me in early 2020 after being elected, seeking my help to broker a ‘peace agreement,’ which I delivered and which he subsequently failed to honour. He then used his position of power to try to destroy the individual he signed the peace agreement with.
Story after story, podcast after podcast, has emerged this week about abuse and toxicity directed at managers, players, and volunteers. I fully acknowledge that this needs to be addressed. There is no place in society for abuse of any kind.
But it cannot be one-sided.
I spoke with several delegates involved in the Mayo Board this week, and many stated they are ready to walk away from it all. They described the environment created by Burns on Monday night as one of intimidation and control. One individual said it was a toxic room, set up to destroy individuals in an attempt to distract from the real issues. There was no opportunity to voice concerns, nor any avenue offered to do so in a confidential manner.
Attempting to portray everyone at the “top table”, past and present, as saints is now bordering on the ridiculous. This is the second time Burns has played this card. It denies the hurt and suffering of others who have also been victims of serious abuse within Mayo GAA circles.
Just to put all of this in context, as is evident from the attached screenshot, Burns personally thanked me for my work as recently as last December and acknowledged the reasons I was contacting him. He spoke of transparency and accountability. Yet, for whatever reason, he has never followed up or agreed to meet with me. And yet, last Monday night, he set out to destroy individuals like me, without offering any right of response or defense.
What happened on Monday night in Westport was abuse. It was an abuse of power, of status, of trust, of privilege, of process. It was an abuse of the right to defend your name. It was an abuse of the legal rights granted to us under our Constitution. And it was an abuse of GAA protocol and procedures.
I know I will receive even more abuse for posting this statement, however, remaining silent would only allow this selective narrative to persist, a narrative used to silence, discredit, and destroy dissenting voices. More importantly, it allows this type of abuse to continue unchecked.
Abuse is a two-way street in Mayo GAA, and it’s time that reality was acknowledged, by both local and national media.

@DublinTed@NewstalkFM Motor vehicles up and down the country are fucking about on the roads every day. People dying and being seriously injured. Is driving while drunk dicking around? Is driving while holding a phone dicking around? Is speeding dicking around?
@Statto25@NewstalkFM It means what it says.
The roads werent built for fucking around on.
Thats not opinion. They just simply werent.
They were built for an economy centered around motor vehicles.
Dick around on them at your peril.
