@Lauraarh I left at 3. It was one of their worst showings in years that’s for sure. I know the start of the season is always testy for parks and reliability isn’t at its best but today was past the normal levels that’s for sure.

Merlin Entertainments: Record losses the last 2 financial years. Internet idiots: “I don’t understand why budget cuts, infrastructure changes and attractions are closing. It’s unacceptable” If you think running a business at well over 100mil loses is clever your all idiots.

@SchwurDesAmy People claim they want honesty but the second you give it to them they just shit all over you and tell you that you’re wrong. They get more defensive when you expand and explain how you come to said opinion. People just don’t ask me anymore these days because “I’m too honest”

Seeing as Im not on any sort of theme park’s creator list, and have been told than I’m ’too honest’ numerous times in my life, I may actually harness that & start a vlogging channel with genuine reviews and stuff 🤔

@markloftCD Let’s not forget they made a massive financial loss as a company last year and as a betting man I’d say the projections are not looking good for this year. If anything I’m personally surprised it’s taken this long for them to make significant cuts across multiple attractions.

Just an FYI, they know their business better than you 🤷‍♂️ You may be a little upset at missing a single hour, but in reality, that hour has been reduced for a reason. Halloween events are so expensive to operate, that even an hour less can have a huge impact on the bottom line.

@AnythingOnRails @flamingolanduk I was on park today and Kumali does not sound healthy! That lift is REALLY struggling. No sign of train 2. I can only imagine a new lift motor or gear box is in the rides future.

⁦⁦@flamingolanduk what is the reason for leaving the back of the train empty⁩ when the queue is quite long? The staff have to unlock and recheck them every time anyway so why not put people in them? Why make the queue unnecessary long?

@ThorpeGuide The park will have nothing to do with this at all. The telecommunications company pay the land owners a fee to be able to put their mast there. Same thing at towers with the stuff on the towers. It’s a minuscule income stream for the park they have zero responsibility for.

Planning permission has been submitted, it looks as though Thorpe Park are wanting to replace a 5G tower in their car park, hopefully improving signal & mobile data usage across the park. #ThorpePark #ThorpeGuide #5G

The most interesting thing about Hyperia being down was people praising Thorpe/ Mack for very simple ride mechanically going down, yet absolutely attack Zamperla for having issues with a prototype on a scale they have never done before! Double standard reign supreme I guess.
