Eastern Orthodoxy rejects the Bible, and they substitute their own righteousness. There is no salvation in the teachings of the Orthodox "church".

Where do you suppose we are substituting our own righteousness? I'd like to see specifically what you think is teaching works based salvation and substituting our own righteousness Do believe that the Orthodox Church teaches that with our own righteousness and our own good deeds we will be justified before God, and do you further believe that in saying this we deny that Christ alone is righteous and that his finished with of the cross alone justifies is before the Father?

@StedfastCam No they dont… they were there when the Bible was compiled at The Council of Rome of 382… They dont believe that they can earn their salvation by their own means. I am not even Orthodox myself.

@StedfastCam Like the “plain” interpretation that resulted in millions of fragmented denominations? Is having no historicity better to you? Holy Orthodoxy = the Holy Scriptures rightly interpreted. Holy Orthodoxy is the faith received and delivered, once for all (Jude 3), passed to us.

Orthodoxy is not only a cancer, but it's also super cringe and seems to appeal to r/iamverysmart type pseudo-intellectuals. A plain reading of scripture is just too simple for them, so they overcomplicate into damnable heresy. When called on it, their defense is "Muh tradition".

@RonaldsRDonalds Because I didn't die the moment I believed. I'm not saved from trouble in my life, I'm saved from hell. Salvation is *attained permanently* at belief (John 6:47), but *revealed* at the last time (1 Peter 1:5).
