This holds up in major tests, meta-analyses, and even transracial adoption studies. It has a strong genetic component with high heritability. This gap heavily drives higher crime, lower education, and poverty, not “systemic racism.” 3/10 Family structure has collapsed. Around 47 percent of Black mothers are single, over 66 percent of Black children grow up in single-mother homes, and 69 percent plus of Black births are nonmarital. This is the biggest predictor of poverty and crime today.
