@_TommyMason Claude Code, Cursor and a good voice-to-text tool. If you work as part of a product team with developers, it is an incredible leap forward.
Biggest wins are prototyping new ideas directly in the code base, and fixing UI/UX snags. Bit of a learning curve at first, but worth it.

Be honest now. And if you’re sponsored by any AI products, don’t reply.
Has any genuinely found an AI that makes a significant difference to the way they work as a designer yet?
And I don’t mean getting Chat GPT to make your deck content or placeholder copy. Or using Loveable to make BTEC prototypes.

A generational pintman winning it in the US after spending three days telling finance bros to fuck off. Have to respect it.

Links golf hits differently.
Official photographers have taken more than 20,000 photos at @TheOpen so far this week.
I scanned through them all to pick the 25 best.
Enjoy 🧵

Let's talk about how we've completely broken the art of asking questions online. The hostility toward genuine curiosity is wild, especially compared to how LLMs handle the same interactions.
Watch any forum: someone asks "what's the difference between let and var in JavaScript?" and suddenly everyone's a condescending professor. "Did you even try googling?" "This is basic stuff." "Read the docs first."
Zero helpful answers, maximum ego protection. The person asking? They disappear. They've learned that curiosity gets punished, so they stop asking.
Now flip to LLMs. Ask the same question and you get a patient, detailed explanation. No judgment, no attitude, just genuine help. Ask for clarification? They're happy to explain differently. Still confused? They'll try a third or fourth approach.
The contrast is brutal. Human experts gatekeep knowledge like it's some precious resource. LLMs democratizes it. Entire communities cannibalized themselves this way. Stack Overflow is a graveyard, Discord servers where newbies lurk in silence, Reddit threads full of deleted comments and scared users.
People quietly moved to AI for learning because it's the only place they can ask "dumb" questions without social punishment. When your AI tutor shows more empathy than your human peers, it's over. gg.

. @WrenKitchens urgent help needed:
We purchased a home that already had a Wren kitchen installed by the previous owners. Some units have suffered water damage, and I’ve contacted customer service to request replacement parts.

@_bubblxs @BenWebbLFC Thanks! To everyone saying it’s AI or fake, I took it, it’s definitely real!
