It’s been a week of big news, and now it’s time for mine. Today is my last day at @base This was one of the hardest things to keep quiet. An era is ending, but the seeds we planted will keep growing. The Base community has never been about any one person or role. It is a living, evolving force. To @base team and @jessepollak: thank you for leading with heart and giving me a chance to be part of something meaningful. Supporting this incredible global community has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my career. To @base community: this isn’t a goodbye. And you already know I can’t stop, won’t stop cheering you on. I’ll see y’all in the trenches. basemom hugs 💛

@0xAneri @baseapp Would love to see the video feed tab come back. Just another tab beside Trade and Talk. Another tab with a custom feed where you can make a list of all your favourite accounts and it only shows content from those accounts would be very handy too

We built and launched our own feed algo for the @baseapp. Sharing some early learnings from digging into the data: 1/ Content from people you follow converts at 5x the rate of general trending/discover content. Trust > virality. 2/ The feed, which wasn't initially designed as a high-intent surface, is still driving nearly half as many trades as our dedicated trading surfaces. 3/ We expected there would be some content that drives engagement but not trades (or vice versa). But they're quite tightly correlated. The stuff people interact with or watch is the stuff they're likely to trade. What else do you want to know?

I did more than I planned. Quack. About half a year of development, 108 days since the release, and here I am. In the beginning, the idea was just an idea, and it belongs to @Crypto_WenMoon A bit of chatting with @sohey_eth marked my first steps, tips and docs from @lindaxie (ooo until 5 Jan). Huge support from @steemhunt, help from @torok_tomi with the canvas (the master of drawings) and @attilagaliba (we miss you, bro) and @Stellarextinct (blockchain things), advices @arrotu. The opportunities that @inflynce (thanks Ali!) offers for attracting attention. First 100 users. Then came the grind: 8-15 hours daily, sleepless nights, improving everything possible, creating a high-quality product--drawings, an image generator, JPGs, holiday events, game integrations like Horse Facts Analyzer, Anime Characters Analyzer, and our masterpiece with @lifeisatape Pinball: All Stars. ( try it if you haven't tried it ) This is a huge journey-I learned so much new stuff and managed to actually implement so many things. I remember every millimeter of my path, and it's very based. I'm still just a little duck, simply building something in my pond, and like everyone else. If a simple duckling was able to build something through tears, suffering, but also joy, more joy, I think everyone can realize their dream and build something! These are the results of the year for my app, but I also did a lot of cool stuff myself, but that will be another story. Keep building. Stay based. Learn from builders. Never give up. Don't be afraid to start. Don't be afraid not to finish. After a dark night, #0000FF day will surely come! OOO 30 secs
