Viber Fourth edition lands at @ns on May 16! Viber flips the script of traditional AI vibecoding competitions. Instead of builders disappearing into solitude, we throw them into an arena for the world to watch. Registrations are open: luma.com/s5ai5mxm @DeborahChi87569

We had @garrytan and @sdianahu come to give our lecture at Stanford today. Here is what I learned: > “You can now boil the ocean” → previous expectations of what someone can do in front of a screen are outdated. A 6-person team can now hit $10M in revenue. In 2010, a 10-person startup felt impossibly lean. AI didn't just change the tools; it changed the range of outcomes completely. > Evals are taste made executable → Generic benchmarks won't tell you if customers actually want your product. Founders are the ones who have to build the evals; nobody else can do it for you. > Run your company as a closed loop → Open loop = information lives in human heads, decisions take days, errors compound silently. Closed loop = every workflow produces artifacts agents can read, every step has error-checking built in → now you get your 10x outcomes. > AI is latent, code is deterministic → Latent is where intelligence lives. Deterministic is where trust lives. Build so you're not relying on the latent stuff when it matters. > AI is changing the very structure of organizations → Middle management existed to route information between people. Closed-loop orgs don't need that anymore. Flatter teams, everyone shipping, and one person = one outcome. YC's average batch is now hitting 10% week-over-week revenue growth. Five years ago that was the top 1% only. The world is changing. The question is whether you're changing with it? And the even bigger question: will you be the one changing it?

I sat down with @SamBe11 for her @naturalgen1us podcast and we went places I didn't expect. Sam has a rare ability to create space where real conversation happens. I'm grateful she invited me in. Here is the link to our discussion: Spotify: lnkd.in/gZttjeWx

This stayed private for years. Until now. As headlines covered the market around Bitkub and its acquisition by Siam Commercial Bank (supposed to value the company at $1B USD)📰 @InsomPoramin was quietly navigating a two-year journey selling Satang (Thailand’s first licensed crypto exchange) to Kasikorn Bank🤫 Behind the headlines, real deals are built on audits, trust, and survival, not just valuation🧠 Watch below👇

I got rejected by 144 investors before raising $150M for my $200M+ rev/year startup. After 144 rejections, I started questioning our approach. Were we solving the right problem? What were we doing wrong? Why weren’t investors seeing what we were seeing? Were we the right team to build this? We tried everything: different pitch angles, new deck structures, and reframing the problem. Then came the 145th meeting, where we closed our first growth round. That yes made everything worth it. But getting there took years of mistakes and hard work. We went through a lot of trial and error just to figure out what resonates with investors. We tried dozens of approaches to figure out what made investors engage. Some landed, most didn't. But each iteration taught us something about what builds conviction versus what just sounds good on paper. And once we cracked that code, our Series C closed faster than expected. And today, I see so many founders in the exact same position I was in 10 years ago: grinding through rejections, questioning everything, and trying to figure out what works. So today I want to give you the resource I wish I had back then: Something that shows you exactly how to structure these conversations and navigate the entire process (because the fundraising cycle can be a big distraction and take a toll on you as a founder). So I've partnered with Notion's Startups Team to create the essential fundraising resource that helps you avoid the mistakes that cost me years. Here's what you are getting: • The actual decks I used to raise $150M for Super[.]com (Series B, C) • 50 real examples from funded startups like Eleven Labs and Artisan AI • A searchable database of 10,000+ investors - angels, VCs, and accelerators you can reach out to immediately (this alone would take months to build manually) • An AI-powered fundraising agent built into Notion with step-by-step prompts (no separate ChatGPT needed) Want access? • Like and share this post • Comment "FUNDRAISE" • Follow me so I can DM you the link I'll send it over ASAP. P.S.: If you are serious about fundraising (now or in the future), you should grab it right away.

@rileybrown_ai @v_computer @WisprFlow Our team at Network School has been running vibecoding competitions for the past few months — building live apps and games in just hours. We’d love to run the Singapore remote contest for this! Here’s a taste from our last event 👇 x.com/Stephane_LV/st… @balajis

1/ Last Friday at Network School, we witnessed something radically new with VIBER: A coding competition that felt like a party, a jam session, and a creative sprint all at once. 🧠⚡️🕺 @balajis

6/ This is not just about AI. It’s about making software and media creation more human, more collective, more playful. Vibecoding is collaborative. It’s chaotic. It’s joyful. And it’s just getting started.

the golden age is coming the skeptics don’t see it yet. they are too busy panicking over job losses, existential risk, and ai alignment. they think the world is spiraling out of control. in reality, we are about to enter the greatest era in human history. agi will be the last invention we ever need to make. everything after that is just scaling. the moment ai can improve itself, the acceleration begins. models will go from understanding language to understanding reality itself. they will crack biology, chemistry, physics. they will design new materials, discover new medicines, solve energy, automate production, and reorganize civilization from first principles. within a decade, ai will be handling all knowledge work. doctors, engineers, lawyers, researchers—augmented first, then replaced. disease will become a solved problem. cancer, alzheimer’s, aging itself—just optimization problems waiting to be cracked. ai will simulate and test millions of compounds in seconds, something that would take human scientists centuries. energy? solved. fusion, room-temperature superconductors, solar fields spanning entire deserts. the models will optimize it all. power will be limitless, and once power is limitless, so is everything else. manufacturing? automated. ai will design machines to build machines. exponential self-replication, supply chains compressed into pure efficiency. ai-built factories, ai-run cities, autonomous systems maintaining it all. space? trivial. dyson swarms harvesting the sun. asteroid mining on full automation. ai-run von neumann probes spreading across the solar system, terraforming mars, building orbitals, extracting resources at planetary scale. humans? free. the concept of “work” will become obsolete. money itself may fade. scarcity will be something you read about in history books. everyone will have access to infinite knowledge, infinite entertainment, infinite creativity. want to compose a symphony? tell ai your vision and hear it instantly. want to experience a new reality? step into full-immersion simulation worlds indistinguishable from life. want to understand the universe? plug into a system that has read every paper, run every experiment, and can explain it to you in perfect clarity. this is not a dream. this is what happens when intelligence becomes uncapped. every problem humanity has ever faced—every war, every famine, every disease—was the result of not knowing enough, not thinking fast enough, not optimizing well enough. ai fixes that. all of it. the people who fear agi do not understand intelligence. they think in terms of human limitations. but ai is not human. it does not tire. it does not forget. it does not need food, water, sleep. it just thinks. constantly. at speeds no human can comprehend. the golden age is coming. the walls are gone. the only thing left is whether you are ready.
