@hangonsloopy93 @Stephen323232 Well I really didn't talk it over w him, but I'm fairly certain we may be on the same page...
English

@B1gDaddyMarv Yeah it would definitely extend its life but it wouldn’t be future proof. Others system aspects would eventually be inadequate. A great aspect would be eliminating the need for a whole new expensive mid cycle box vs a cheaper system upgrade.
English

@MikWArt @P1984Nick44506 @IdleSloth84_ Because it plays PC games also, some believe that it’s just a PC and the games will just be PC games. Helix is an evolution of Series X, with custom hardware, software and system level features that must be optimized for like any console. Also, PC versions won’t support VA.
English

@P1984Nick44506 @IdleSloth84_ Please, read better. It's not a PC. There will be Helix version of games.
"be smarter to start with the Xbox for PC version first and then use that as the basis for the Xbox console version.”
English

Chris Charla | Interview
“We're working hard so developers can make one Xbox build in the future and it'll run on their Project Helix console, on PC and on streaming and cloud surfaces like smart TVs and other devices.”
“Someone looking to be ready for next-gen with Xbox should be developing for Xbox console today, developing for Xbox on PC, and supporting Xbox Play Anywhere,”
“That'll put you in pole position for the next generation and ensure your Xbox on PC game runs natively on Project Helix. [...] be smarter to start with the Xbox for PC version first and then use that as the basis for the Xbox console version.”
“Of course we'll have more details about how developers can take advantage of the specific hardware features of Project Helix in the months ahead, but doing this ensures they'll have a native build on Project Helix.”
Charla says, he's recently been told by many devs that Xbox's New Releases page is critical for discovery. So he's been working on improving that page, as well as planning out other, upcoming backend tools for developers to help get eyes on their games.
“I think for us, Xbox has always been at the core of everything that we do. It's the name of our business. But I think that just making sure that folks understand our commitment to Xbox and our commitment to console, the center of everything we do.”

@JudgeTrippyGuy @CMoney4Ever Yeah and if these were just in house tech demos, meaning not existing released games, we probably wouldn’t have as much pushback on it but I’m sure there’s always gonna be complainers. Either way, it looks great the way it is in my opinion.
English

@Stephen323232 @CMoney4Ever Exactly mate, "Photorealism Default Beta Preset 1" obviously won't look ideal for most games, but when the devs receive all of the tools to tweak values and strength, they will certainly capture original vibe better, with massively improved lighting😁
English

DLSS 5 is Literally not changing the models champ. Just adds the realistic lighting that devs like the ones working on Resident Evil Requiem are OBVIOUSLY trying to achieve. Considering that Capcom, the actual developers, are on board, you might want to rethink your take 😬
K-Med@K__Med
There's a absolutely no way that DLSS will ever know "the artist's true intent". DLSS 5 might look okay in some games, but this is definitely crossing into different territory.
English

@CMoney4Ever Ability, not ABK 🤦🏻♂️. Autocorrect is my nemesis lol
English

@CMoney4Ever Given that it’s controllable as to the amount of AI assist, the artists will have the ABK to actually make sure it 100% reflects their intent. Nvidia just applied AI to already made games and all it did was flesh out what was already there, not adding to it.
English

@MisterSpace3 @V3nti1at0r And BTW, can’t wait for this. Screw the virtue signaling idiots.
English

@MisterSpace3 @V3nti1at0r Supposed to be 5000 series and later, fall 2026 release.
English

@V3nti1at0r I don't know but I'm buying whatever 😂😂😂😂
People here are telling me that it will launch ...THIS year though, and I was certain it'd be nextRTX gen-only🤯
English

@j2001mj2001m @Xbox_Series_XS Right, and that’s how it’s supposed to work. GPU generates the graphics and the AI/NPU enhances the image in various ways and just like Nvidia, it should be controllable by the dev. We just don’t know the capabilities of this FSR but no matter what it is at launch, it’ll evolve.
English

@Stephen323232 @Xbox_Series_XS Like I said, they be using the gpu for that I be thinking, the npu may be adding to things at the same time, we have no real idea
English

@j2001mj2001m @Xbox_Series_XS The raw AI compute of 5090 tensor cores way higher than the Helix NPU so at face value it’s to even close but we have to remember that the Helix NPU will be CPU accelerated so it maybe far closer than we know.
English

@Stephen323232 @Xbox_Series_XS This will be linked to amd fsr diamond😁😎
i do not think it eill be the npu, but xbox may use it on top

English

@j2001mj2001m @Xbox_Series_XS Yeah we have no idea what the capabilities of the Helix NPU is yet. We also need to remember that the software behind it will be new too, It’ll need time to mature and evolve.
English

@Xbox_Series_XS This is linked to Neural Rendering, the next Xbox does have this, no idea if it’s going to be this good😢
English

@Septic_Sauce @leebrightjr More like 98%. There’s the vocal 2% out here that’ll bitch about anything.
English

@JayDook Personally, I think it looks phenomenal. Bring it on!
English

@MiguelGX9 @B1gDaddyMarv @xMBGx What did you think neural rendering was? Either way, it’s not a filter, it AI assisted reconstruction but this version has more to do with lighting than anything. Nvidia has been using neural processing for quite a while, this isn’t new stuff we’re talking here.
English

@Stephen323232 @B1gDaddyMarv @xMBGx Count me out if what we are getting is Ai slop filter in videogames.
English

@B1gDaddyMarv @xMBGx People better get used to it because that "AI slop" is what will be powering the next generation of AMD graphics too, including PS6 and Helix. Personally I think it’s awesome, can’t wait.
English

@xMBGx Hmmmmm.....it looks a lot better but it does look like a completely different person. So i could see people feeling that way.
English

@Angelinapie89 @andrewwrichard @donwinslow Thats not the eligible voters, it’s based on the number of people or percentage of people who actually participate in the voting process. There’s a lot of misinformation surrounding this subject.
English

@Angelinapie89 @andrewwrichard @donwinslow On a side note, I had grok go through this exercise and calculate the approximate number of people who would be affected by this law based on the criteria and yearly averages. It est that approximately 2-3 million people would have to register or about 1.5% of the voting base.
